Autism Center for Young Children is a region-wide operation within Rehabilitation & Health, serving children aged 0–6 with an autism diagnosis.

The clinic is a unique operation working according to the latest research findings for our target group. Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is the theoretical foundation of our work, and we place great emphasis on working with evidence-based methods.

Autism Center for Young Children works with knowledge dissemination and supervision for the children's networks, both in groups and through individual interventions.

About the Position

We are looking for someone who wants to work with evidence-based methods with preschool children diagnosed with autism and their networks. At Autism Center for Young Children, there is a well-developed system for method support and collegial supervision. As an employee, you will receive professional development with a focus on applied behavior analysis and structured supervision and support in your work.

We have a specific assignment to conduct cognitive assessments on children with autism prior to school start if there is a suspicion of intellectual disability. There is an opportunity within the PTP position to perform testing and investigation with this focus.

Requirements

Psychology degree. Step 1 in CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy). Experience in rehabilitation work and experience working with people with disabilities are considered assets. We place great importance on personal suitability.

Employment Type

PTP service for 12 months. Full-time. Start August/September 2026 or by agreement.

Rehabilitation & Health is part of the Stockholm County Healthcare Area (SLSO) within Region Stockholm. For patient-facing work within the Stockholm County Healthcare Area:

• Registry checks are applied before a decision on employment according to SLSO's overarching instruction for registry checks at employment.
• Employees who will have patient contact must undergo a new employment examination, according to current directives, which takes place through occupational health services before employment.
• In addition to a Swedish professional license, good knowledge of the Swedish language corresponding to level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) is required. The same requirement is guiding for non-licensed personnel with patient contact.
