Welcome to us

The municipal home care service in the Northern Inner City district has started a night patrol for fixed night interventions and addresses security alarms during the night in 2025.

Our areas are Östermalm, Norrmalm, and Kungsholmen. The unit is Star Marked by the Swedish Dementia Center, which means we specialize in person-centered care and support for individuals with cognitive impairment/disease.

We offer

We are now looking for summer substitutes for the night patrol. Start date according to agreement.

Your role

As a nursing assistant/care assistant at night, you will work with experienced and trained colleagues, where you are responsible for care interventions and respond to and address security alarms. This requires a flexible working approach and good collaboration with colleagues. You also need to be self-driven and service-oriented.

Together with your colleagues, you will plan and organize care and work for good care based on individual needs. We work person-centered with the elderly in focus. The work involves both urgent and planned interventions, which means you need to be able to make independent decisions.

Your skills and experience

You must have:

• Nursing assistant education and proof of protected professional title from the National Board of Health and Welfare or ongoing education in healthcare
• Driver's license
• Experience in home care, preferably at night
• Good experience in documentation and information transfer
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language in speech and writing

It is meritorious:

• If you have worked in a security patrol for home care
• Used to night work
• Good local knowledge of Östermalm, Norrmalm, and Kungsholmen
• Completed training in ergonomics and first aid.

Great emphasis will be placed on personal qualities.

Other

To work with the elderly and individuals with disabilities in their homes, at the City of Stockholm, you must provide an extract from the criminal record. The extract must not be older than 6 months from the date of issue. Before you start your employment as a nursing assistant in the night patrol, you will undergo a health examination.
