About Us

Björnö Elderly Care consists of six units with a total of 60 single-room apartments. Within each unit, there are common areas and beautiful outdoor spaces. Your Responsibilities

As a nursing assistant at Björnö Elderly Care, you will have a varied job where you plan and implement weekly planning, manage medications, and plan activities. You will document and handle any deviations daily. Together with your colleagues, you will distribute tasks and communicate with HSL personnel such as registered nurses, rehabilitation staff, and on-call nurses.

Examples of tasks:

• Be a contact person and be responsible for establishing and following up on your clients' weekly plans and implementation plans

• Receive delegation of medications from a nurse

• Conduct fun activities

• Manage documents and deviations

Working hours and employment rate: Day and evening, part-time with the possibility of full-time

Employment form: Permanent employment, we apply a six-month probationary period.

Salary: We apply individual salary setting for base salary, other compensation is provided according to collective agreements.

Start date: Immediately or by agreement.

Who Are You?

We are looking for you who are a team player – a responsible person who enjoys working both independently and in a group. You have the ability to see the whole picture and are not afraid to take the initiative. You are used to documentation and work with quality as a guiding principle. Experience in person-centered work is an advantage, and we believe it is important that you are a relationship builder with good collaboration skills and a positive outlook.

We are looking for you who:

• Are a trained nursing assistant or have equivalent work experience

• Possess good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing

It is an advantage if you have:

• Experience working in elderly care or home care

• Experience working with people with dementia

• Experience in privately operated facilities

A prerequisite for starting employment with us at Humana is that you can present a valid ID and any documents that support your right to work in Sweden.
