Job Advertisement: Nurse for Department 21 within Stockholm Psychosocial Care
Department 21 is a department within Stockholm Psychosocial Care (PSV) and is centrally located in Kungsholmen, S:t Görans hospital area.
Description
We are a specialized department that cares for patients aged 18 to 35 who are experiencing a psychotic illness for the first time.
The focus is on comprehensive assessment, treatment, and planning together with patients and relatives. We place great emphasis on the involvement of patients and relatives (e.g., patient forums, relative education, and crisis intervention) and close collaboration with neighboring care providers, especially outpatient care.
The department has 12 + 1 care places, and we can offer a calm and cozy environment in accordance with the care program. One care place is reserved for self-chosen admission.
Half of the department's staff are nurses, and the department is well-staffed. This enables quality in nursing work, planning, and good collegial support. Many of your future colleagues have worked for a long time in the department. We can offer a good introduction, support from experienced colleagues, and good opportunities for short-notice leave.
Job Responsibilities
You will be part of a team of caregivers, doctors, occupational therapists, and social workers. As a nurse with us, you will be responsible for leading the nursing work in the care team/primary group. You will also collaborate with outpatient care, other care providers, and relatives for the patient's continued care after discharge.
Qualifications
Licensed nurse with a genuine interest in helping people with psychiatric issues. Previous experience in psychiatric care or specialist training in psychiatry is an advantage but not a requirement.
You are a positive person who enjoys collaborating with different staff categories but also working independently. You thrive in a varied work environment and have a flexible mindset with the ability to improvise. You do not need to be fully trained, but you want to develop in your role.
Conditions
Full-time, permanent. Start date by agreement.
Your benefits with us include:
- Customized onboarding at the workplace
- Opportunities for development work in the department/section
- Flexible hours
- Preferred schedule – working 2 weekends out of 5, day and evening shifts
- Professional development
- Wellness hour and wellness allowance of 5000 SEK
- Free outpatient healthcare
Welcome to submit your application! The position will be filled provided that it is not needed for internal relocation, according to current regulations.
