About the position

As a nurse with us, you will participate in world-leading robotic surgery and highly specialized care for patients with gynecological and urological diagnoses. We have a large mission within the Stockholm region and are, among other things, the sole provider of surgery for advanced bladder cancer and advanced reconstruction of the urinary tract. Our primary mission is planned surgery, but we also receive patients in need of acute care. There is an efficient flow in the department with good doctor availability, and you will quickly gain broad knowledge and a very good foundation to stand on. Our department currently has 18 care places on weekdays and 12 care places on weekends. We have an active teamwork where you as a nurse work closely with nursing assistants and department doctors to care for our patients.

The department is characterized by a positive and supportive work climate, and we enjoy having fun at work! The workgroup is a wonderful mix of experienced and new colleagues, and the climate is open and welcoming.

We are looking for someone who

• is a licensed nurse with an interest in surgery and works carefully with a focus on quality and patient safety
• listens to patients, builds trust, and can set clear boundaries while motivating and meeting patients in an empathetic way
• takes responsibility for your tasks, structures your work, and drives it forward with a solution-focused approach
• collaborates well with others, communicates clearly, and contributes to the whole by being flexible and seeing the best for the organization.

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Licensed nurse
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written

Meritorious:

• Experience in surgical care
• Previous work with urological and gynecological diseases.
