We are looking for someone with a strong sense of empathy who is driven to help our patients with mental health problems!
We are currently seeking two nurses for the Sollentuna Psychiatric Clinic, Psychiatry North West.
The Sollentuna Psychiatric Clinic caters to all individuals over 18 years of age, registered in Stockholm County, who are in need of psychiatric care at a specialist level. The clinic is part of Psychiatry North West, a university hospital in the northwestern part of Stockholm County's healthcare area (SLSO) with approximately 550 dedicated employees. The Sollentuna Psychiatric Clinic is a pleasant workplace with high competence and a good community, located in newly renovated fresh premises right next to Sollentuna train station.
We primarily assist patients with depression, anxiety disorders, personality disorders, and neuropsychiatric (NP) disabilities. Our team consists of nurses, psychologists, social workers/REKO, psychotherapists, medical secretaries, and doctors.

Job Responsibilities
A significant part of the tasks within outpatient care for a nurse involves supportive and follow-up conversations, effect evaluation of pharmacological treatment, and staffing our ADHD clinic together with nursing colleagues and doctors. You will also receive new patients who seek our services. Many of our patients have ADHD, and as a nurse, you will meet these patients for medication follow-up and effect evaluation. Therefore, we welcome applicants with an interest in this patient group.
Qualifications
You should be a licensed nurse. Previous experience in psychiatric care is considered an asset but is not a requirement. We are looking for someone with an interest in psychiatric care and the ability to learn from experienced colleagues.
We expect you to be flexible in how you prioritize, plan, and execute your tasks and to adapt quickly to changing circumstances. You have developed the ability to meet people with varying emotional states. You enjoy working independently and structuring your workday. We expect competent clinical judgment, a professional approach, and teamwork skills. We also appreciate innovation and an interest in development and improvement. Personal suitability is highly valued.
Conditions
The position is a permanent employment with a start date by agreement. Full-time 40 hours per week with working hours Monday to Friday 08:00-16:30.

For patient-related work within Stockholm County's healthcare area:
- background checks will be applied before hiring according to SLSO's overarching guidelines for background checks at employment.
- employees who will have patient contact must undergo a pre-employment health examination, according to current directives, which is conducted through occupational health services before employment.
- in addition to Swedish professional certification, good knowledge of the Swedish language corresponding to level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) is required. The same requirements apply to non-licensed personnel with patient contact.
