Capio ASIH is establishing a new operation in Södertälje and is looking for a physiotherapist who wants to be part of it from the start. With us, you will work closely with patients in their home environment and contribute your expertise in a multi-professional team. The role is suitable for you who appreciate independent work with a strong patient focus.

The position is 80%, with some flexibility based on needs and preferences.

About us

Capio ASIH offers advanced home healthcare for patients with extensive medical needs. We have long and solid experience in providing advanced home healthcare and are the only provider in the Stockholm Region authorized in all geographical ASIH areas.

At Capio, we value high medical quality, social responsibility, and innovation. Our employees are given the opportunity to influence and develop, and we work together to create safe teams and care that makes a difference every day.

Your role

As a physiotherapist within ASIH, you have an important role in the multi-professional team around the patient. The work is based in the patient's home and focuses on maintaining or improving function, mobility, and quality of life in daily life.

You work independently with physiotherapeutic assessments and have a consultative role where you assess needs, develop training programs, and provide recommendations to both the patient and other professionals in the team.

You work closely with occupational therapists and other team members, but you are often the only professional in your field at the unit. This requires confidence in your professional role and the ability to make independent decisions in your daily work. A large part of the work takes place in the patient's home environment, where you plan and carry out your interventions independently.

Your responsibilities include: • Conducting physiotherapeutic assessments of functional and activity ability • Developing training programs and providing advice to patients and the team • Prescribing aids based on the patient's needs • Following up and evaluating interventions • Participating in teamwork and contributing to joint care planning • Planning and structuring your patient contacts independently

The role differs somewhat from work in inpatient care, with a greater focus on advice, planning, and support rather than continuous treatment. You have great opportunities to influence and plan your own workday based on patients' needs.

Who we are looking for

We are looking for a licensed physiotherapist with at least a couple of years of clinical experience, including assessments and aid prescriptions. Experience in teamwork is an advantage, as is work in patients' home environments or within ASIH.

To thrive in the role, we see that you: • Enjoy an independent working style and planning your own workday • Are confident in your profession and in making your own assessments • Are structured and responsible in your patient work • Have good collaboration skills and enjoy being part of a multi-professional team • Have a consultative approach and the ability to provide clear recommendations

For the role, the following is required: • Competence in combined physical edema therapy (KFÖ) • A valid driver's license (B)

Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability and your ability to work independently in a role where you are often alone in your profession, while being an important part of the team around the patient.

We offer

• Access to a network of paramedical professionals within the organization

· Collective agreements, competitive terms, and wellness benefits

• A values-driven, inclusive, and professional workplace

Application

Interviews are conducted continuously, and the position may be filled before the application deadline. Therefore, do not wait to submit your application. We look forward to hearing from you.

In connection with employment, we will conduct a background check against IVO and the National Board of Health and Welfare, and we will also check the criminal record for the final candidate.

We look forward to hearing from you!
