Capio ASIH is establishing a new operation in Södertälje and is looking for an occupational therapist who wants to be part of the start. With us, you will work closely with patients in their home environment and contribute your expertise in a multidisciplinary team. The role suits you who appreciates independent work with a strong patient focus.

The position is 80%, with the possibility of future expansion to 100%.

Your role

As an occupational therapist at Capio ASIH, you play an important role in the team around the patient. The work often takes place in patients' homes, so it is important that you feel confident in planning and conducting patient visits independently. Sometimes patient visits occur together with a physiotherapist or another profession, and in your role, you become an advisory function to other professionals. You make your own assessments in the patient's home environment and contribute your specialist competence regarding activity ability, function, and adaptations in daily life.

Your responsibilities include: • Assessing the patient's activity ability and function in the home environment • Conducting assistive device assessments and prescribing assistive devices • Assessing the need for housing adaptations and other practical solutions at home • Participating in team rounds and contributing to joint care planning • Acting as support and advisory function to other professionals in the team • Collaborating with physiotherapists and sometimes conducting joint patient visits

Who we are looking for

We are looking for a licensed occupational therapist with a few years of experience in the profession. Experience working in patients' homes is highly meritorious but not a requirement.

A driver's license is required as the work involves regular patient visits at home.
