Temporary Position as Psychologist at the Assessment and Investigation Unit

Stockholm Center for Eating Disorders (SCÄ) is one of the largest specialist clinics in the world for patients with eating disorders and receives patients of all ages.
We have a well-developed operation with digital care, outpatient care, intensive outpatient care, day care, inpatient care, and nationally specialized care for both adults, children, and adolescents. Today, we have nearly 300 employees. Our outpatient and day care services are located in Södermalm and our inpatient care at Danderyd Hospital.

The Assessment and Investigation Unit is the spider in the web at SCÄ and the outward face towards healthcare neighbors and referrers. Therefore, you will be an important part in ensuring that patients receive the right care at the right time.
About the Position:
We are now looking for a psychologist for a 1-year temporary position at the Assessment and Investigation Unit. This is a position for you who enjoy clinical assessments, diagnostics, and working in a central function where many important care decisions start.
Our unit is the first point of contact for our patients with SCÄ. We are responsible for the initial assessment and care planning for all patients. The work provides an opportunity to develop high competence in psychiatric diagnostics with a particular focus on eating disorders. We work with patients of all ages, both children, adolescents, and adults. Currently, the need is greatest for assessments of children and adolescents.
The unit is also responsible for referral conferences and contact with healthcare neighbors in the initial phase.

Job Responsibilities:
- Assessment interviews for new patients or when a renewed assessment is needed
- Care planning together with the patient and guardians
- Collaboration internally and with healthcare neighbors
- Consultations and advice
- Telephone advice to the public
Qualifications:
Licensed psychologist with previous experience in psychiatric assessments according to SLSO's care process maps.
Personal Qualities:
You have good collaborative skills, take responsibility, and enjoy working in a team. We would like you to have experience with eating disorders or child and adolescent psychiatry.
We also believe that you appreciate a job where you meet many different patients and contribute to important clinical decisions early in the care process.
Employment Type:
Temporary, 1 year
Full-time, 40 hours/week

- employees who will have patient contact must undergo a pre-employment health examination, according to applicable directives, which is done through occupational health services before employment.
- good knowledge of the Swedish language corresponding to level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) is required, in addition to Swedish professional licensure. The same requirements apply to non-licensed staff with patient contact.
