Summer Temporary Positions with Opportunity for Permanent Employment - Care Assistant for LSS Residential Home with Psychiatric Focus

Do you want to help create security, structure, and quality of life for individuals with complex needs?

We are now looking for dedicated care assistants with experience in LSS for our LSS residential home with a special focus on psychiatry. Here, you will work closely with individuals and contribute to creating a meaningful and stable everyday life.

About the Position

As an employee with us, you will work with individuals who have extensive support needs related to both LSS and psychiatric disabilities. The work is varied and may include:

• Support in daily activities and social interactions

• Structuring daily routines and individually tailored pedagogy

• Observation, documentation, and follow-up

• Collaboration with colleagues, nurses, occupational therapists, psychiatry, and relatives

• Working with low-arousal approaches and clarifying pedagogy

• Active participation in team meetings, implementation plans, and quality work

The work includes day, evening, and weekend shifts as well as sleeping on-call.

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Trained care assistant

• Good ability to express yourself in speech and writing

• Confident in your professional role and comfortable working in a structured and independent manner

• Good physical and mental endurance

Meritorious:

• Experience working within LSS

• Experience in psychiatry, neuropsychiatric disabilities, or challenging behaviors

• Knowledge of low-arousal approaches, social pedagogy, and clarifying working methods (e.g., TEACCH, AAC)
