At our clinic, we work from a holistic perspective on humanity, focusing on creating safety for our patients and their relatives through high accessibility, participation, and continuity.

The clinic is centrally located in Liljeholmen's center, and there is a rich patient flow. We are a family center but also collaborate with several child health clinics in the area. At the clinic, 13 midwives and one unit manager work together. We all help each other and see each other as assets with different experiences. Organizationally, we belong to BMM Stockholm Södra, which is a midwife-led results unit within SLSO consisting of 14 midwifery clinics. We work patient-centered based on SLSO's values, focusing on the patient, equal rights for all, and joy at work.

Job Description:

Standard tasks for a midwife at a midwifery clinic. The work as a midwife with us is varied. We work with pregnancy, contraception, STI testing, and gynecological cytology. We have both physical visits and digital meetings. The work with us involves working one evening per week until 7 PM.

Employment Type:

Permanent position, full-time 100%. A probationary period may apply. Start date according to agreement.

Qualifications:

You are a licensed midwife with prescribing rights and have the authority to work within Swedish healthcare. We expect that you have worked as a midwife for some time.

We are looking for someone with a positive attitude who is responsible, secure in your role as a midwife, and used to making independent decisions. If so, you may fit into our group. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

Additional Information:

To prevent the spread of MRSA, Stockholm County's healthcare area (SLSO) applies health certificates before new employment and regulates the possibilities for healthcare personnel to wear piercings.

  • employees who will have patient contact must undergo a pre-employment medical examination, according to current directives, which is done through occupational health services before employment.
  • in addition to Swedish professional certification, good knowledge of the Swedish language at level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) is required. The same requirements are guiding for non-licensed personnel with patient contact.
