Internal Medicine Specialist – ECVIM/ACVIM Diplomates or Residency-Trained Veterinarians Wanted for Our Team

We are looking for two dedicated and experienced internists with ECVIM diplomas who want to become key members of our growing team. As our new colleague, you will play a central role in supporting and educating our veterinarians.

We appreciate a particular interest in investigating and collaborating with other departments to facilitate diagnostics. You also enjoy giving lectures, providing advice, and sharing your knowledge by educating your colleagues.

You are motivated by providing high-quality service to our pet owners and ensuring our patients receive the best possible care. Work in oncology may occur as part of managing patient flow in the oncology team. A strong interest in research and collaboration with other Nordic colleagues to support clinical studies is also something we value.

Your responsibilities include clinical work at the clinic. You will conduct clinical investigations primarily on dogs and cats, as well as create treatment plans and follow up on patients. The work also includes supporting colleagues through guidance and lectures.

We are looking for someone who:

• Is an ECVIM/ACVIM Diplomate or residency-trained veterinarian

• Has experience in clinical work within internal medicine

• Has experience in clinical work within oncology

• Has good collaboration skills

• Has good proficiency in spoken and written English

It is a merit if you have:

• Experience in educating colleagues

• Experience in conducting scientific rounds

What do we offer? You will work in an experienced and dedicated team that includes two board-certified surgeons, two cardiologists, a neurologist, an emergency and critical care specialist, an anesthesiologist, and a clinical pathologist – all with the goal of providing high-quality care for a growing number of advanced cases.

You will have access to state-of-the-art equipment and advanced diagnostic capabilities. Our clinic is equipped with digital radiography, computed tomography (CT), and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), and we have three advanced ultrasound machines – including a portable unit for bedside examinations. We also have the capability for video endoscopy (broncho-, gastro-, and rigid endoscopy) and fluoroscopy.

We have a well-equipped laboratory, and close collaboration with our reference laboratory ensures thorough investigation of each case. Our hospital also includes a unit entirely dedicated to chemotherapy, providing safe and effective treatments in oncology. For anesthetic needs, we have advanced monitoring equipment.

Employment Type: Permanent 100%. Start date according to agreement.
