Psychiatry Southern Stockholm is hiring a Nurse

Psychiatry Southern Stockholm strives to become a leading example in Swedish psychiatry.

We do this by working person-centered, offering the right competence for the patient's needs, and emphasizing the application of evidence-based guidelines and care programs. We continue to invest in development work in the areas of patient safety, care processes, and our most important resource, our employees. We are over 1000 dedicated employees who provide patients with good, safe, and equal care.

We are looking for you as a Nurse

We are looking for you who want a schedule with less weekend work, only every third weekend, and a dedicated study day from home every other week!

About us at ward 20

We started a completely new ward for general psychiatric care at Nacka Hospital in the fall of 2023. The ward was completed at the end of 2019, so everything from premises to furnishings is still new and fresh. We work in interdisciplinary teams consisting of doctors, nursing assistants, nurses, social workers, and medical secretaries. The ward has 16 beds and offers treatment and care for patients aged 18-65 who primarily suffer from depression, anxiety, personality disorders, suicidal issues, and crisis reactions.

Your work as a Nurse

As a leading nurse with us, you work in a team together with nursing assistants, doctors, and paramedical staff. You lead the nursing work, which means assessing nursing needs, planning, and executing – primarily psychiatric – but also somatic nursing measures. The work is varied, but a typical day often includes support conversations, medication management, contact and coordination with care neighbors and relatives, among others.

Our expectations of you

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse and who is genuinely interested in developing psychiatric inpatient care. You have an empathetic ability reflected in curiosity and openness to other people. Collaborating with colleagues comes naturally to you, and you easily adapt to changing circumstances. Furthermore, we see that you have an interest in development and that you actively participate in the care development of our ward.

We place great importance on personal suitability. It is advantageous if you have experience working in psychiatric inpatient care and/or have specialist training in psychiatry.

What can we offer you?

A permanent full-time position (38:15 hours/week), with shifts during the day, evening, and every third weekend. There is an option to work a lower percentage than 100 if desired. Individually tailored introduction.

Flexible hours, wellness hour, and wellness allowance of 5000 SEK/year.

After one year of employment, an annual time bank of 40 hours will be added, which can be taken as leave, money, or extra pension contributions.

Functional role for specialist nurses with a salary supplement of 2500 SEK/month.

Does all this sound interesting?

If so, apply for the position with your CV, cover letter, and certificates. We apply ongoing interviews in this recruitment process.

Warm welcome with your application! The position will be filled provided that it does not need to be used for internal relocation, according to applicable regulations.
