We are looking for part-time substitutes who can work during the day, evening, and weekends.

Smedbygården is a private group home for the elderly with dementia. We have been located at Solskiftesvägen 5 in Åkersberga since 1995. Our operations are based on respect, knowledge, and empathy. In that order.

Here, residents live in a homely environment with their own furniture. The houses are on the ground floor with pleasant outdoor areas and green surroundings. Additionally, we cook our own meals. The groups are small, and the staff's understanding of each person's life situation and illness ensures that our residents receive a high quality of life and good care.

Since 2008, we have been ISO certified in quality.

You have an interest in working with elderly individuals with dementia. You want to contribute to ensuring that our residents feel safe and receive good care. You are interested in helping those with dementia to have a dignified and joyful everyday life. You are positive, flexible, and enjoy cooking. Your main tasks will be to meet the residents' needs and wishes based on individual implementation plans. You will also follow up and evaluate the quality of the services daily. Your tasks will be planned and evaluated together with the resident, relatives, and colleagues. Your work will also include performing daily chores, such as cooking based on available ingredients.
