We are looking for an Occupational Therapist for Home Rehabilitation!
Rehab City’s units are now seeking an occupational therapist for home rehabilitation in Lidingö.
At Rehab City Lidingö, we are nine employees who enjoy teamwork and home visits, and now we need one more occupational therapist.
We are located in nice premises in Torsvik, near the Lidingö Bridge, about 2 minutes by bus from Ropsten subway station.
With us, we create our own schedules and have flexible working hours.
We conduct most home visits together with a team colleague. We drive electric cars to most visits, but we also have access to bicycles and sometimes walk.
Rehab City is part of the Stockholm County Healthcare Area, an organization that values creativity and development. At Rehab City Lidingö, we are about 30 employees consisting of physiotherapists, occupational therapists, dietitians, chiropractors, speech therapists, social workers, nursing assistants, and administrators. Job Responsibilities:
The work is focused on home rehabilitation and includes examination, assessment, prescription of aids, and treatment/rehabilitation of patients of all ages with varying diagnoses. In home rehab, you help people become as independent as possible in their daily lives. You primarily work in a team with a physiotherapist or dietitian. Below are some examples of occupational therapist-specific tasks:
- Individual assessments and prescription and testing of aids
- Assessment and training in ADL
- Functional and activity assessments in connection with dementia investigations
- Cognitive assessments and prescriptions of cognitive aids
- Assessment of housing adaptations and writing certificates
- Collaboration with other healthcare providers, home care, relatives, and housing adaptation administrators
Supervision of students is included in the assignment. Documentation is done in the Take Care journal system.
Employment Form:
Permanent employment, full-time 100%. Start date according to agreement. A probationary period may be applied.
Qualifications:
- Licensed occupational therapist
- A valid driver's license and driving experience are required as we travel by car to home visits
- As you work in patients' homes, you cannot be sensitive to pets, smoking, strong odors, and other allergens that may be present.

- employees who will have patient contact must undergo a pre-employment medical examination, according to applicable directives, which is done through occupational health services before employment.
- in addition to Swedish professional certification, good knowledge of the Swedish language equivalent to level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) is required. The same requirements apply to non-licensed personnel with patient contact.
