Psychiatry Southern Stockholm
Psychiatry Southern Stockholm strives to become a leading example in Swedish psychiatry.
We do this by working person-centered, offering the right competence for the patient's needs, emphasizing the application of evidence-based guidelines and care programs, and we continue to ambitiously invest in development work in the areas of patient safety, person-centered care, care processes, and of course, our staff. We are over 1000 dedicated employees who want to offer our patients good, safe, and equitable care.
We are entering a new era!
Stockholm County's Healthcare Area (SLSO) is launching Psychosis Care Stockholm – a newly formed organization that gathers all outpatient clinics and inpatient wards for patients with psychotic disorders within SLSO into a common operation.
About the Psychosis Clinic Gubbängen
We are a team passionate about patients with psychotic disorders. Important values for us are patient focus, accessibility, good treatment, and patient-perceived quality. The Psychosis Clinic Gubbängen receives patients with psychotic disorders primarily living in the neighborhoods of Farsta, Skarpnäck, and Vantör. The clinic consists of specialist doctors, case managers, a mobile team, and a nursing clinic. Additionally, paramedics and secretaries work at the clinic. In total, we are about 30 people.
Your work as a nurse in the Mobile Team
The working method is based on “Less Intensive Case Management in the form of the resource model” and emphasizes continuity and flexibility in meeting a patient group with varying care needs. The mobile team primarily works on behalf of the clinic's case managers or, in some cases, on behalf of general psychiatric clinics within the clinic. The assignments can vary in nature. Administration of medication to patients at home and in residences is a significant part of the job. Other assignments may include picking up patients for the clinic's medication clinic or supporting the patient in functions that contribute to maintaining and promoting good health, as well as administering injections at home. We work in the data journal system TakeCare.
Our expectations of you
The work requires good collaboration skills as well as the ability to work independently. Flexibility and a sense of service are important. It requires the ability to meet people in varying moods, both in the patient's home and at the clinic. We place great emphasis on personal suitability. We expect you to have previous healthcare experience, preferably within psychiatry.
Requirements:
- Licensed nurse
- Driver's license B and driving experience.
What can we offer you?
We offer the opportunity to work in a workplace that allows for personal and professional development at both the individual and group levels. We provide a work environment where we work together to ensure that patients receive the best possible care. As an employer, we care about our employees' health and well-being and offer, among other things, flexible hours and a wellness allowance of 5000 SEK. The position is permanent, 100% with a 38:15 hour work week. The schedule consists of day shifts, evening shifts, and weekend shifts (2 weekends out of 5).
Does it sound interesting?
Warm welcome to apply! The position will be filled provided that it does not need to be allocated for internal relocation, according to applicable regulations.
