Part-time Nursing Assistants Wanted at Stockholm Center for Eating Disorders

The Stockholm Center for Eating Disorders (SCÄ) is one of the largest specialist clinics in the world for patients with eating disorders, accepting patients of all ages. We have a well-developed operation with digital care, outpatient care, intensive outpatient care, day care, round-the-clock care, and nationally highly specialized care for both adults, children, and adolescents. Today, we have over 280 employees. Our outpatient and day care services are located in Södermalm, and our round-the-clock care is at Danderyd Hospital.
Round-the-clock care for children and adolescents has space for 12 families with a treatment duration of 6-10 weeks. Family work plays a central role in the treatment, where parents are empowered in their parenting role and gain increased knowledge about eating disorders. Parents are present with their children throughout the treatment period. Here, you will work closely in a team (care team) with nurses, nursing assistants, psychiatrists, dietitians, and social workers. FBT plays a very central role in the treatment.

We offer you, as a trained nursing assistant, a stimulating and pleasant workplace where we put the patient at the center. You will receive training in our treatment methods as well as regular supervision. We are a dedicated team with high competence, and we strive to provide patients with the best care. We aim to create an open and pleasant working environment with close cooperation between our various units. Every week, families have the opportunity to meet a Participation Coordinator, and we have a close collaboration with the patient association Frisk och Fri. Employment Type and Working Hours:
Intermittent employment (part-time) with shift work and good working hours.
Qualifications:
You are a trained nursing assistant with a certificate of protected professional title from the National Board of Health and Welfare. Previous experience working in psychiatry and with patients with eating disorders is an advantage. Ongoing studies in a field that can contribute to our operations are seen as positive, while you gain experience that can enrich your studies. Likewise, previous practical experience with somatic examinations such as venous blood sampling and EKG, as well as knowledge of the TakeCare journal system.

- In addition to Swedish professional certification, good knowledge of the Swedish language corresponding to level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) is required. The same requirements apply to non-licensed staff with patient contact.
