About Us

The oncology clinic is part of specialized care at Södersjukhuset and consists, in addition to our inpatient department, of a medical treatment department, a clinical research unit, radiation therapy, and two outpatient clinics.

The department has 12 patient beds and is a vital part of the clinic's overall care for our patients. This autumn, we have accommodated an acute assessment unit in the department and look forward to better caring for our patients who seek urgent help for symptoms related to their treatment/illness. We have an exciting time ahead with improvement efforts that will benefit both patients and staff.

Job Description

As a nurse, you will work closely with a nursing assistant and in interdisciplinary teams to ensure the best possible care. Here, the patient who needs oncological care based on their specific needs, with both curative and palliative focus, is our priority. In the role of nurse on the ward, you have a central task in planning, leading, and executing nursing work.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who values a person-centered approach with a focus on teamwork. We consider it an advantage if you have experience in oncology and if you have a specialist education in oncology. Your personal qualities are important for you to become the right piece of the puzzle in the team.

Competence Requirements

• Licensed nurse with at least one year of experience
• Swedish language skills corresponding to at least level C1
