WeMind (http://www.wemind.se/) works for mental health and offers care and support services within adult psychiatry, child and adolescent psychiatry (BUP), residential care homes (HVB), as well as resource and treatment schools. We work evidence-based, follow treatment results, are resource-conscious, and always provide a friendly approach. Our most important building block is, of course, our employees, and together we work to continuously improve psychiatry in Sweden, making a real difference through effective and equitable care and interventions. Become one of us!

This position offers great flexibility regarding scope and form of employment. We are looking for someone who wants to work 20% or more, and let’s have a dialogue about which employment form suits you best; hourly employment or permanent employment.

Your new workplace

In December 2024, WeMind opened our new assessment unit in Vasastan, Stockholm, where we conduct neuropsychiatric assessments for children and adolescents on behalf of Region Stockholm. We are now looking for someone who wants to continue developing and driving the operations together with us!

The work follows national guidelines and is based on evidence-based methods. Our working methods are structured yet flexible, and the daily work is characterized by a lack of prestige, collaboration, and openness. WeMind strives to always prioritize the needs of patients, and together with a competent and experienced team of specialist doctors, psychologists, and administrative staff, you will create the best care for the target group.

The clinic also has a smaller private operation for privately paying patients.

Working as a Medical Lead Specialist Doctor at WeMind

In addition to working as a specialist doctor at the unit, you as an MLA are an important part of the management of the operations together with the unit manager. You participate in regular medical management group meetings together with the medical chief and other MLAs at WeMind, and actively work on patient safety at the unit, developing medical routines, and enhancing operations. The role also includes further developing existing operations and creating conditions to receive children and adolescents for medication treatment.

As a doctor at WeMind's NP clinic, you will work with neuropsychiatric assessments of children and adolescents aged 6-17 years.

You will be responsible, in a team with psychologists, for assessment, evaluation, and diagnosis of ADHD, autism, and intellectual disabilities. You will provide the medical specialist competence in the assessment work and contribute with expert knowledge in medical/psychiatric issues.

Your most important contribution is made in meetings with patients, which is why we have administrative staff and clear routines that free up time for your specialist competence to shine. Meet our doctors on WeMind's career page (https://jobb.wemind.se/departments/lakare).

If you want to continue developing in assessment work, there are opportunities with us

  • Thorough introduction
  • Opportunity to help shape your new workplace both to deliver really good care and to become a great place to work
  • Clear manuals for the assessment process based on national care programs and the latest evidence

  • Colleagues in different parts of the country who collaborate and share experiences

About you

  • Licensed doctor, specialist in child & adolescent psychiatry or pediatric medicine
  • Experience in child and adolescent psychiatry

You are used to working independently and enjoy taking initiative and developing work forward. At the same time, you are attentive and value participation and collaboration with other professional groups. You have a positive attitude and find the social work environment and team spirit important.

WeMind's most important building block is, of course, our employees

For us, it is important to have a safe and pleasant work environment where every employee has a stimulating work situation and also has fun at work. You will have colleagues in different parts of the country who collaborate and share experiences, as well as established work processes for assessment, detailed treatment materials, and proposals for setups for the most common diagnoses.
