Solfagra Day Activity is located centrally in Huddinge at Kvarnbergsplan and is aimed at individuals with mild to moderate intellectual disabilities and individuals with diagnoses within the autism spectrum. The activities are designed and adapted according to each person's abilities, interests, and needs.

Our overarching goal is to offer meaningful employment, with the user's influence and participation in the implementation of activities in focus. At the workplace, we work based on structure, a clarifying pedagogy, and individual goals for the users.

Within the same management area and in the nearby geographical area are Motiva Day Activity and Stuvsta Day Activity. The units collaborate regarding resource allocation, which may involve different placements within the management area when needs change.

About the Job

Do you want a job where you make a difference every day? At Solfagra Day Activity in the heart of Huddinge, we create meaningful days for individuals with intellectual disabilities and diagnoses within the autism spectrum. Here, structure and pedagogy are combined with creativity and joy!

Solfagra is a day activity with an aesthetic focus – think visual arts, music, theater, and lots of creative joy. We work with clarifying pedagogy, individual goals, and the user's participation in focus. With us, it is important that you dare to share yourself – perhaps sing along to a song or dance together with the participants.

As a support assistant at the day activity, you provide daily support to participants, such as assistance in carrying out activities, support in personal hygiene, support during meals, and possible medication management. You will work with different users throughout the week, and challenging behavior occurs to varying degrees and variations. With some users, you work together in a group, and with others, you work individually, which means you must be able to work both independently and in a team. Together with other staff members, you plan the activities based on each individual user's needs and conditions. The operation is characterized by clear structure and routines, where we adapt our approach and attitude based on the individual's needs. We use clarifying pedagogy, low-arousal responses, and AAC (alternative and augmentative communication) in our work with the participants.

You will have contact responsibility for several participants, which means you are responsible for establishing and following up on implementation plans, writing method sheets, and documenting in our data system.

The workgroup consists of a wonderful team of about ten colleagues, including a team leader and a support pedagogue. The staff group is characterized by engagement and flexibility.

About You

We are looking for someone with a care and nursing education focused on disabilities (or equivalent). You have experience with clarifying pedagogy, AAC, and low-arousal responses. You have worked for at least 18 months with the target group (person groups 1 and 3) and have experience as a contact person with all that entails. We consider it an advantage if you can sing or play an instrument. You need to be proficient in Swedish, both spoken and written, and have good computer skills.

We place great emphasis on personal qualities and are looking for someone who is structured and responsible in their work. You are flexible, creative, and place great importance on finding solutions rather than problems. You need to be attentive, adaptable, and have the ability to choose strategies based on different situations. Furthermore, we are looking for someone with an unpretentious attitude, good collaboration skills, and a strong interest in working with the target group. We place great importance on personal suitability.

For this position, you need to be able to present a valid extract from the criminal record before employment can begin.
