ArkivIT is a consulting company with expertise in digital archive and information management, offering services in our areas of Archive & Registration, Data Protection, Information Security, and E-archives. The company was founded in 2010, and since then, our services have expanded, our expertise has broadened, and we continue to grow. Our consultants are dedicated to their profession and contribute their specialist knowledge to clients across Sweden. Our ambition is to take care of and safeguard the digital cultural heritage while strengthening our clients in modern e-governance and information management.

About the role As a Junior Archive Consultant, you will work on a variety of assignments in roles such as registrar, archive assistant, or document controller. The majority of our clients operate in the public sector and consist of municipalities, municipal companies, government agencies, and regions. When you become a consultant at ArkivIT, you will join a consulting group of about 25 archivists with varying experiences and backgrounds. Although you will work independently on your client assignment, there is a vast pool of expertise available through your colleagues at ArkivIT, and especially support and guidance from your consulting manager.

Currently, ArkivIT has several clients seeking expertise in archives & registration. The duration of assignments varies between 3-6 months, with a scope of 50 - 100% depending on the assignment.

Qualifications

• University degree in archive science with at least 60 credits or equivalent higher-level education
• Good system knowledge
• Fluent in speaking and writing Swedish

Meritorious

• Knowledge and experience in electronic archiving and digital preservation
• Practical experience as an archivist or registrar

Personal abilities As a person, you are attentive and pragmatic in your working style, with a good ability to communicate your message in an educational manner. You enjoy working towards results, are flexible, and humble in your approach.
