We are looking for an engaged Senior IT Project Manager (minimum 9-12 years of experience) who is passionate about planning and organizing projects in the IT and technology field, for our client in the defense industry in Gothenburg.
In your role as a consultant with us, you will have a varied job with a range of different tasks.
The Role of Project Manager
As a project manager, you are responsible for planning, leading, and following up on the work within the ILS sub-project. For this assignment, it is required that you have at least 9-12 years of experience as a Project Manager.
You will:
- Prepare cost estimates and manage budget responsibility.
- Conduct resource analyses and ensure the right staffing.
- Establish timelines, milestones, and delivery plans for the project.
- Follow up on the project's progress and quality.
- Maintain close dialogue with clients and internal stakeholders, and lead regular follow-up meetings.
A central part of the job is to create and maintain good relationships with those involved in and around the project.
Your main tasks include planning and coordinating projects from start to finish. You set realistic deadlines and goals and are responsible for resource planning and assigning tasks to team members. You ensure that project goals and metrics are achieved, reported, and followed up. In this role, you monitor and report on the project's progress and communicate with various stakeholders. You manage risks and issues that may arise during the project and follow up and evaluate the project after delivery.
Who are you? For the role, it is required that you have previous experience in project management/working as a project manager. Preferably, this experience comes from working with ILS.
We also see that you have a bachelor's or master's degree in IT/engineering.

The role requires you to have good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to applicable security protection regulations, which includes the requirement of Swedish citizenship.
This assignment is performed 100% onsite at the client's premises in Gothenburg, which does not allow for remote work.
