With us, you will find a small-scale and calm environment, where there is time and space to see each child. Lekstugan is a small parent cooperative where parents are involved in the operation of the preschool, and families get to know each other and have insight into the children's daily lives. We have space for 19 children aged 1 to 6. Our preschool has a large lovely yard close to both the sea and the forest. The staff group currently consists of a principal/preschool teacher, a preschool teacher, and two childcare workers.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a childcare worker, you will plan the work together with the preschool teacher, conduct follow-ups, and analyze to improve and develop the operation together with the team. We are looking for someone who wants to help create a safe and educational environment for the children. You should have good collaboration skills and pedagogical insight to meet each child's unique needs and potential. You are responsible for working with other staff to ensure that the operation challenges the children to be active, learn, and take responsibility, all according to the intentions of the curriculum.

The working hours at Lekstugan are rolling.

Opening hours are: Monday – Thursday 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM. Friday 7:00 AM - 3:45 PM.

QUALIFICATIONS

- You are a qualified childcare worker or have other education that the employer considers suitable.

- You are well acquainted with the preschool curriculum Lpfö -18 that permeates your work.

- You have a clear focus on children's learning and the competent child.

- You have knowledge of/are aware of the significance of the learning environment and are responsive to the individual child's need for challenge.

- You are flexible with good communication skills and are not afraid to take your own initiatives.

- You are curious, engaged, and have good collaboration skills.

- You have a reflective approach.

- You are aware of the importance of pedagogical documentation.

Great importance will be placed on personal qualities.

To work in environments where children are present, you must present a valid extract from the criminal record, which can be ordered from polisen.se, before employment can begin.
