Do you want to work with cutting-edge technology in robotics and automation – in a team that has the freedom to choose the best technical solution for the task? Husqvarna Robotics Tools is now looking for a knowledgeable and curious developer who wants to help shape the future digital tools for our robotic products.
About the role
As a developer within Robotics Tools, you will be part of an agile and innovative team that develops internal software tools for various parts of Husqvarna's organization – from service companies and retailers to R&D and production. The tools are used to configure, monitor, and control Husqvarna's robotic lawn mowers – an area where Husqvarna is a world leader.
You will work throughout the development chain: from design and implementation to testing and maintenance. We build both new products and further develop existing tools. The role is broad with a focus on .NET development for desktop and web, but also with cloud connectivity via Azure. Depending on your experience, there is also the opportunity to take a lead role or mentorship within the team.
We work according to a SCRUM-based approach and have close contact with stakeholders and other development teams within the organization. You will be part of a competent team where you are given great responsibility and freedom to influence both technical choices and work processes.
Responsibilities:
- Full-stack development of software tools for service, R&D, and production
- Design, implementation, testing, and verification of new and existing products
- Integration with Azure cloud services and cloud infrastructure
- Collaboration in cross-functional, agile teams
- Opportunity to take technical lead responsibility or act as a mentor
We are looking for someone who has
Must-haves:
- Experience in development with .NET and C#
- Knowledge of Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF) and desktop applications
- Experience with .NET backend (ASP.NET Core, Blazor)
- Experience working with Azure cloud services and CI/CD pipelines
- Familiarity with working in agile teams and close to stakeholders
- Ability to take ownership of solutions and contribute as a technical expert
- Good knowledge of Swedish and English
Preferred:
- Experience as a lead developer or architect
- Test-driven development (TDD) and automated unit tests
- Experience with security aspects in desktop and cloud applications
- Knowledge of Unity, MAUI, iOS/Android development
- Experience in embedded development
- Background in complex domains or mission-critical systems
