We are looking for a systems engineer who wants to work on the development and integration of advanced systems with one of our partners in the defense and aerospace industry. The role aims to ensure safety, reliability, and performance in the electronic systems of aircraft platforms. You will contribute to shaping the future technology for both military and civilian applications and gain a long-term, technically advanced, and meaningful workplace. The work offers great responsibility, varied project environments, and close collaboration with multiple disciplines. 

The work is project-based, both in new development and further development as well as more customer-specific projects. The role involves a technically leading responsibility where you drive and implement defined parts of the projects. As a systems engineer, you work cross-functionally and are responsible for ensuring that the system solutions maintain high technical quality throughout the development chain.

Key responsibilities:

• Develop and analyze system requirements
• Define system architecture and system design
• Lead and plan system integration
• Define and follow up on verification and validation strategies
• Coordinate verification activities between hardware, software, and systems
• Monitor requirement coverage, test results, and technical deliveries
• Drive and implement work packages in development projects and technical studies

You act as a technical specialist and contribute to developing product cores that can later be customized. The work may also involve participation in international development initiatives together with other companies in the aerospace and defense sector.

• 5–15 years of experience as a systems engineer
• Master's degree or bachelor's degree in hardware, electronics, or software
• Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written

Experience from working in an industry where security-critical thinking is required (e.g., nuclear power, medical technology, or rail) is considered an advantage for the role. It is also positive if you have knowledge of aviation standards (ARP-4754, DO-178C, DO-254) or have worked with RTOS such as Linux, VxWorks, or Arinc653. Experience in the design and development of avionic systems and integration into aircraft platforms is also valuable.

Salary: Fixed monthly salary
