Role Description

We are looking for a Test Engineer for a consulting assignment within an innovative team working on next-generation vision technology for autonomous and self-driving products. The assignment is hands-on and gives you the opportunity to work closely with both hardware and AI development in real-world environments. You will be part of a perception team focused on testing and validating vision systems outdoors, contributing valuable data to the development and training of AI models.

Responsibilities

• Record and analyze video sequences for training and testing AI models
• 
  
• Test and validate sensors and lenses in real outdoor environments
• 
  
• Identify and document deficiencies in vision systems
• 
  
• Manage and follow up on error reports from the field and internal teams
• 
  
• Collaborate with developers on prioritizing actions
• 
  
• Design, build, and execute tests based on real scenarios
• 
  
• Develop and maintain automated regression tests

Requirements

• 1–5 years of experience working with vision systems, such as cameras, LiDAR, or similar
• 
  
• Experience in testing and validating sensors
• 
  
• Knowledge in image and video analysis
• 
  
• Experience in scripting, such as Python
• 
  
• Good understanding of test automation frameworks
• 
  
• Experience with HIL systems or building and maintaining test rigs
• 
  
• Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret test results
• 
  
• Good collaboration and communication skills
• 
  
• Valid driver's license (B)

Preferred

• ISTQB certification or equivalent knowledge
