About the position

As an IT Support Technician, you will work on the front line of the Service Desk and be responsible for receiving, registering, and managing incoming error reports and orders via phone, web portal, and email. You will perform troubleshooting both remotely and on-site, and if necessary, escalate cases to second line support. The role also includes the installation of PC equipment, tablets, and peripherals, as well as managing the inbound and outbound deliveries of client equipment.

You will actively contribute to the management of applications by inventorying versions, ensuring licensing, documenting, and maintaining good security. The work also involves ongoing communication with users and suppliers to create a smooth service experience, while participating in projects and improvement and development initiatives within the team. Together with colleagues, you will work to strengthen delivery, develop working methods, and drive a modern, efficient, and service-oriented IT environment.

You will be part of a larger IT team and report to the Infrastructure and Operations Manager. The position is a permanent employment with placement in Fagerhult with some opportunity for remote work.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone with several years of experience in IT Support and who is used to working with operations, troubleshooting, and management of IT environments. You have a post-secondary education in IT or equivalent competence through work experience, as well as previous experience in project management. You communicate fluently in Swedish and English, both spoken and written, and hold a B driver's license and a car.

As a person, you are confident in yourself and enjoy working in a structured manner. You take responsibility for your tasks, communicate clearly, and value collaboration as highly as technical quality. You are curious, service-oriented, and responsible – a person who thrives where things happen. When challenges arise, you remain calm, prioritize wisely, and see opportunities for improvement. It is advantageous if you have experience working with cloud services and architecture related to cloud environments, for example in design, implementation, or further development of cloud-based solutions. Experience with modernization and development initiatives is also a plus, but not a requirement – we offer good opportunities to broaden and deepen your skills over time based on both interest and the needs of the business.
