 About the position:

Working as a personal assistant means creating security and support in everyday life. You ensure that everything works, handle unexpected situations with calm and professionalism, and contribute to creating a meaningful and secure environment for the person you assist. It is a job that requires commitment, responsibility, and stability – but also gives you the opportunity to truly make a difference in someone's life. We are now looking for an experienced and reliable personal assistant for a 26-year-old girl in Gråbo (Lerum municipality) with extensive care needs. She communicates using assistive devices and, although she does not speak, she understands everything that is said.

The position is a part-time employment of approximately 75% and includes work during the day and evening, as well as night shifts with on-call duty. You will work in double assistance, and it is important that you are flexible regarding working hours.

 Who are you?

We believe that you have a natural caring ability, notice the little extra things, and are in a stable place in your life. Previous experience in personal assistance or training as a nursing assistant is advantageous and provides you with good conditions to offer the support and care required. You are a reliable and trustworthy person with a genuine commitment to helping others.  There are good bus connections that make it possible to commute to the workplace, even if you live in, for example, Gothenburg.

  • Stable and responsible – you take responsibility for everyday life and handle both planned and unexpected situations with calmness, security, and professionalism.
  • Physically fit and flexible – you have good physical strength and mobility, and can assist with transfers and other practical tasks in a safe and smooth manner.
  • Experience or interest in alternative communication – experience is advantageous, but we also value a genuine interest and willingness to learn how to use assistive devices to facilitate communication.
  • Personal chemistry and humor – you contribute with a positive and warm approach, and can create a good working relationship where both joy and respect are in focus.
  • Non-smoker – to create a healthy and pleasant working environment for everyone.
Scope & Work arrangement:
  • Start date: Immediately. 
  • Employment rate:  Approximately 75%. 
  • Agreement: Introductory shifts and approximately one month of hourly employment before the regular employment rate is assigned, provided that everything has gone well. This gives you a chance to feel secure and well-prepared for your new role.
  • Work shifts: Mainly day and evening, as well as night shifts with on-call duty.

Recruitment process & Employment conditionsRecruitment process

We continuously contact candidates who are relevant for an initial interview. The position will be filled when we have found the right person, which may occur before the application deadline. Your application will be processed by staff at ENKV assistance, along with the client, and any relatives, guardians, or other concerned parties. If the position involves work with a minor client, a criminal record check is always required.

Child perspective in recruitment

At ENKV, we closely follow the Convention on the Rights of the Child, which means that if you apply for a position that involves working with minors, the recruitment process will include specific steps to ensure that the child's will and needs are taken into account. When employed in a position where you work with a minor client, training on the child perspective is also included.

Employment conditions

If you proceed in the recruitment process, you will need to verify your identity and prove that you have the right to work in Sweden. To sign your employment contract and time reports, you will need a BankID.

To ensure that we maintain high quality in the assistance, new employees will undergo a web-based introductory training (about 1 hour), preferably before the start of employment but no later than within a month from the start of employment.   • Salary: We apply individual salary setting.
