Bålsta Swimming Club is looking for a dedicated swimming coach

Bålsta Swimming Club is an active association with about 500 members, the majority of whom are children and young people. Our activities range from mini swimming and swimming school to competitive swimming training and adult swimming.

If you are a swimming coach, you might be studying and looking for an extra job,

You should have a background in swimming sports, either as a leader, coach, or active swimmer, and a strong desire to contribute to both swimming development and the club's continued success.

About the role

The position is a combined role where you work both within the swimming school and competitive activities. Your role and tasks will be shaped in consultation with you, based on your skills, experience, and the needs of the organization.

We are looking for someone who is driven, pedagogical, and committed to developing swimmers at various levels. You see opportunities to inspire children and young people to continue their swimming careers from swimming school to competitive activities.

Personality weighs heavier than experience.

Examples of tasks:

• Planning and conducting swimming training and swimming instruction.
• Stimulating interest in swimming and ensuring a natural transition from swimming school to competitive activities.
• Close collaboration with other coaches and the person responsible for operations.

We are looking for someone who

Has a background as a leader in some sports activity or educational profession.

You have the desire to learn about swimming development and are passionate about developing swimmers at various levels.

Is structured, responsible, and has an easy time collaborating.

Has basic digital skills – experience with Teams, SportAdmin.

Can communicate clearly in Swedish both verbally and in writing. A B driver's license is an advantage but not a requirement.

Employment conditions

• Work percentage: Up to 50% (can be adjusted based on experience and background).

• Employment type: Permanent part-time employment scheduled for evenings & weekends with a 6-month probationary period.

• Salary: Hourly wage by agreement

• Collective agreement: Employers' Alliance.
