About Liljeforsskolan

Liljeforsskolan is a F-5 school with about 310 students and around 50 staff. The school is located in the Gränby area, one of Uppsala's so-called vulnerable areas. The school has a well-functioning leisure home for students from preschool to grade 3. The students attend leisure home in age-integrated groups. The leisure home's activities are running in the morning before the school day begins and in the afternoon after the school day ends.

Job Description

As a leisure home teacher, you will work in a grade during the school day and at the leisure home in the morning and afternoon. You will support students in the grade, both individually and in groups, during the school day. At the leisure home, you will help plan and implement the activities included in the leisure home's education.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has a teaching license with the authority to teach at the leisure home and in some of the school's subjects.

As a person, you are flexible and easily adapt to changing circumstances. You are outgoing and socially active in professional contexts. Furthermore, you have good collaboration skills and relate to others in a responsive and smooth manner. The job suits you if you are pedagogical and understand people's different conditions for absorbing knowledge.
