JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for an engaged and responsible employee who wants to be part of our team in our AST operations and our LSS leisure activities to provide our students with the support they need to live as independently and actively as possible.

Job Tasks

The position is twofold: planning and implementing LSS leisure activities and being a resource in Knivsta's municipal autism spectrum group. Both services involve the same students and are currently located at Adolfsberg School.

Within LSS leisure activities, you will work to ensure that young people with various disabilities, primarily within the autism spectrum, receive the right support for a meaningful leisure time. You will actively work for the students' participation and adapt your working methods according to their wishes and needs.

QUALIFICATIONS

Experience and a strong interest in working with students with autism spectrum disorders, NPF, and IF are desirable. You are positive and see multiple ways to acquire new skills as something natural.

We are looking for someone with education in the care and nursing program with a focus on disabilities or the Child and Leisure Program with a focus on pedagogical and social work, or other education deemed suitable by the employer. Experience from working within LSS operations is required. Experience and knowledge in low-arousal approaches and a pedagogical background are meritorious.

You should master the Swedish language both orally and in writing and have basic computer skills. As a person, you are responsible, have a respectful demeanor, and are calm and secure in yourself. You have good collaboration skills and can work both independently and in a team. You should be able to take responsibility and plan and organize your work independently. You are flexible and responsive in your working methods and can contribute to a positive work climate. You should have the students' needs at the center and maintain a professional demeanor towards students, guardians, and colleagues. We will place great emphasis on personal suitability.
