Within the Education Administration in Enköping Municipality, we offer residents pedagogical care, preschool, primary school, high school, and adult education of high quality. Lillkyrkaskolan is located in the scenic Trögden, about 15 kilometers outside of Enköping. Our geographical location provides good opportunities to use the local environment for learning in various contexts. We see it as natural that parts of the teaching take place outdoors. Lillkyrkaskolan is a small school with a library, music room, textile room, wood and metal workshop, a full-size gym, and special facilities for our leisure activities. At Lillkyrkaskolan, we have students from preschool class up to grade 6. We have about 150 students and approximately 20 staff members.

Our staff members have high qualifications both in school and leisure activities. We share each other's competencies through collaboration in learning teams and through a developing collegial exchange in joint meetings every week. Our attitude is: “We want to develop. We are never finished.” We have a shared understanding of seeking answers to students' difficulties in the learning environment and teaching situations, not in the student themselves.

We have high goal fulfillment and continuously and systematically follow up on students' learning throughout the school year. Lillkyrkaskolan is well on its way in digitalization. Our classrooms are equipped with interactive boards, and students have access to digital tools from preschool class and up.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Pedagogical work in leisure and primary school.

As an educator with us, you work closely with four qualified teachers and three ambitious leisure leaders. Together, you are responsible for conducting meaningful and developmental work throughout the school day, focusing on the leisure center's activities in the afternoons.

During the day, you will be in the classroom to help students with their schoolwork and promote an inclusive learning environment. Part of the assignment involves providing support to students with special needs, focusing on students with diabetes, which requires interest and responsibility.

Your work contributes to removing barriers to learning and creating a school that works for everyone.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is:

• Teacher in leisure activities, or
• Teacher with a focus on younger ages, or has a preschool teacher degree.
