About the Workplace

Futurum F-9 is a well-regarded school located on the outskirts of Bålsta in Håbo municipality.

The school has approximately 1050 students and is Håbo's largest primary school.

The school has competent and solution-oriented staff with a strong interest and commitment to students' development and learning. The school's special teachers and lead teachers, together with the principal, lead the further development of teaching at the school.

We are now looking for an experienced special teacher in the subject of Swedish.

Are you motivated to create pedagogical learning environments?

As a special teacher, you work both with overarching student health issues and provide instruction for students in need of special support. The overarching work includes support, coaching, and guidance of educators individually or in groups based on students' different needs. You collaborate with working teams, plan, implement, and follow up on instruction with students in need of special support. Together with other special teachers, special educators, counselors, school psychologists, school nurses, assistant principals, and the principal, you are part of the school's student health team and contribute to the team's development.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is a certified special teacher with several years of experience in the field and has very good knowledge in the subject of Swedish. You have good experience in working with accessible learning and pedagogical learning environments. Experience with UDL - universal design for learning is an advantage.

As a person, you are secure in yourself and in your teaching role, unpretentious, and solution-focused. You are a good role model, see opportunities, and contribute to the school's development. You are independent and can also lead and motivate others. Your work is efficient and structured, and you can express yourself well in speech and writing. You find it easy to collaborate and build relationships with students, educators, and guardians. You have a good understanding that people absorb knowledge in different ways and therefore adapt your message to the recipient. You place great importance on working towards goals and achieving results.

Good competence in digital tools in teaching and personal suitability are aspects we particularly emphasize in our selection process.
