We are now looking for someone who wants to work as a priest in the Southern area of Växjö parish. Here you have the opportunity to combine the idyllic Småland countryside with a growing city. You will meet active teams and volunteers who care about a rich parish life where prayer and work are clearly connected. In several of our parishes, there is a positive population development, and we have well-attended parish activities.

We can offer you a position where you:

• can actively participate in developing both worship life and parish work
• have the opportunity to combine renewal and tradition
• work outwardly and build good relationships with parishioners, volunteers, and colleagues
• can serve as a priest both in the city and in the countryside

Your main tasks:

• Worship services and church ceremonies
• Daily activities for different age groups
• Devotions at nursing homes
• Confirmation groups

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is ordained as a priest in the Church of Sweden. You enjoy priestly duties and developing the work together with others. You create engagement and participation and have an easy time establishing and maintaining good contacts. We place great importance on personal suitability and being open to collaboration across professional boundaries.

Facts about the position: Permanent position at 100%

Driver's license class B. Access to a personal car.
