Job Description

Take the opportunity to try an interesting summer substitute position as a treatment assistant at SiS.

The goal of your assignment is to motivate our young people to new and less risky ways of living. As a treatment assistant, you help ensure that the routines in the department work as they should. You play a major role in the stability and security of our young people and clients, and are responsible for the basics of daily life such as schooling, cleaning, cooking, and more. You contribute to maintaining the safety of the institution according to our routines. Documentation is an important part of your work. You will work to build good treatment relationships and contribute to providing our young people and clients with the security they need to break ingrained behaviors. Together with your team of dedicated colleagues such as treatment educators and treatment coordinators, you have the opportunity to achieve good results and contribute to change. The job is often demanding but also stimulating, joyful, and varied.

The working hours are according to a schedule day - evening and weekends.

As a summer substitute at SiS, you will undergo a customized introduction training to prepare you for your assignment.

Qualifications

You should have:

• Completed high school education
• Experience working with people in a vulnerable life situation e.g. from psychiatry, HVB activities, or from healthcare and social care.
• B driver's license
• Good Swedish language skills in speech and writing

Your personal suitability is the key to vital change. Therefore, you need to have a good ability to create engagement and participation. Equally important is that you have a solid positive view of humanity, great empathy, and an ability to build good treatment relationships. You have good communication skills and can remain calm even in stressful situations. You also have the ability to collaborate with others and are happy to share your knowledge with colleagues.
