Do you want to make a difference? We are now looking for an engaged and competent SFI teacher who is passionate about teaching and wants to contribute to our students' language development and integration into society.

Job Responsibilities

As a teacher of Swedish as a second language, you will create a developing study environment for the students in close collaboration with your colleagues. You will work based on the curriculum as part of a work team, and together with the principal and other colleagues, you will lead and develop the school towards increased goal fulfillment. We use a coaching approach where the focus is on meeting each individual's needs and conditions to help them on their way to work or further studies.

Your responsibilities include teaching, planning, and follow-up, as well as handling the administrative tasks involved. You will also actively participate in the school's systematic quality and development work. We continuously work to follow current research, and we value a strong drive to systematically highlight and spread good examples in teaching.

As part of our team, it is important that you have a humble approach and contribute to good collaboration where our common results are prioritized. Courses and teaching content may vary depending on demand, and evening classes may occur as part of the assignment.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with a teaching degree, who is licensed and qualified to teach Swedish as a second language (at least 90 credits). If you also have experience in SFI teaching, we consider it an advantage. We also welcome applicants with relevant experience in adult education and language learning.

To succeed in this role, you should be pedagogical, communicative, and have a good ability to build relationships with students. It is important that you are engaged and have a strong interest in supporting students in their development. Experience in teaching SFI Flex or equivalent is an advantage, as well as a willingness to actively contribute to the school's development.
