The Security Department of the Migration Agency is part of the head office and has overall responsibility for security within the agency.

We consist of about 30 employees in three units. The department is led by our Security Director, who is also part of the agency's management team.

Job Description

We offer a stimulating and responsible job with great opportunities for personal development. As an expert focused on security-protected procurement related to the exposure of protected values, you will work closely with our security protection experts and case officers, as well as in close collaboration with the procurement and purchasing unit and responsible managers in the organization. You will participate in the further development of the area, and the role will involve a mix of development, governance, and follow-up work, providing support to the organization.

Since we strive for broad roles within the Security Department, other qualified tasks may occur based on the needs of the organization and your own interests and experience.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has:

  • an academic degree deemed relevant for the position,
  • formal education in the security field,
  • several years of experience working independently with security-protected procurement, including follow-up and control in a government agency or larger organization,
  • very good knowledge of security protection legislation as well as regulations, directives, and standards in the field,
  • the ability to express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing,
  • Swedish citizenship.

It is advantageous if you:

  • have previous experience working in public administration,
  • have experience working in other relevant security areas, such as personnel security,
  • have worked on following up and developing processes in a government agency and/or larger organization,
  • have experience leading projects.

The employment is a permanent full-time position that begins with a 6-month probationary period.

The place of employment is Norrköping. The job may involve travel between all our offices.

The position is classified in a security class, and Swedish citizenship is a requirement. A security screening with background check according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) will be conducted. Employment is contingent upon a successful security clearance.
