Security Officer in Information Security

Description

The Security Department is in a phase of development and we are now looking for someone who wants to contribute to further developing our work in information security.

The Swedish Migration Agency's Security Department is part of the head office and has the overall responsibility for security in the authority. We consist of about 40 employees in three units. The department is led by our Security Director who also sits on the agency's management team.

Responsibilities

The Security Department has a broad portfolio that, in addition to information security, includes security protection, crisis preparedness, total defense, physical/technical security, travel security, employee protection, and personnel security.

In the role of a handler in information security, your task is to, together with other colleagues, contribute to systematically ensuring and continuously further developing the agency's work in information security. The work includes extensive internal cooperation as well as external collaboration with other authorities and organizations.

Qualifications

Personal qualities

You are structured and have the will and ability to take your own initiatives. You work well with other people and relate to them in a sensitive and smooth manner. You have well-founded and clear values and the ability to think conceptually on issues from an ethical perspective.

Requirements

Academic education in relevant areas or other education combined with experience from qualified work in a larger organization within information security.
At least two years of current experience from another authority or larger organization with systematic work in information security.
Very good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing.
Swedish citizenship.

Preferred qualifications

Experience in work related to security protection such as security protection analysis and/or security-protected procurement.
Experience from other areas of expertise in security.
Experience in project management.
Experience in developing governance documents.
Experience with ISO27001, NIS, CER, and other governing standards and directives regarding information security.
