As an expert in physical security, you will work alongside specialists in other areas and belong to Specialfastigheter's technical unit. The unit has a broad responsibility that includes setting requirements for physical security in our properties. In addition, the unit analyzes and assesses global developments to ensure that the organization remains at the forefront. The unit serves as an important support function by developing guidelines, providing advice, driving development projects, and offering expert support to the organization.

About the position

As an expert in physical security, you will play a central role in the daily work of setting requirements, developing, and supporting the organization in matters concerning physical security in Specialfastigheter's property portfolio. The role is broad and requires both teamwork and deep specialization to understand and manage the complexity of our assignments, which often involve high requirements for physical security, evacuation, and technical security systems. Through environmental monitoring, you will stay updated in your field, and together with your colleagues, you will be an important part of the development work in the area of physical security.

Main responsibilities:

• Training initiatives for Specialfastigheter's security requirements
• Advising on matters related to physical security both internally and externally within the framework of our management and new, renovation, and extension projects
• Development of guidelines and supporting documents, ensuring compliance with regulations in the area.
• Working on method and product development
• Participating in procurements

About you

To be successful in this role, you have:

• A relevant academic degree or equivalent knowledge deemed equivalent by the employer
• At least 5 years of documented experience in the field of physical security at an operational or strategic level
• Good knowledge of laws and regulations in the area of security protection, evacuation, and regulations related to accessibility
• Good knowledge of the Swedish Theft Protection Association's standards
• Excellent ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in Swedish
• Good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in English
• A valid driver's license (B)

It is advantageous if you:

• Are a certified locksmith or have a master’s certificate in locksmithing
• Have experience and knowledge of technical surveillance systems
• Have a fortification education

Location

Your place of work will be Linköping or Stockholm, but since our operations and projects are spread across the country, the position involves some travel.

We conduct a special security assessment by conducting a security interview and reviewing legally binding judgments from Swedish courts. We also conduct drug tests through our occupational health service before employment. In addition, some of our clients may require placement in a security class and subsequent background checks in accordance with the Security Protection Act (2018:585 chapter 3).
