What the role entails

As a Technical Communicator, you will work in a technical environment and contribute to creating information about one of our clients' products. The information can be used for educational purposes or address how a product should be handled from an aftermarket perspective.

You will work with:

• Understanding and grasping the complex technology found in today’s cars.

• Building good relationships with the R&D departments of our clients for ongoing information gathering.

• Creating, managing, and structuring technical information.

• Adapting language, structure, and content to the target audience for high usability.

Who you are

Do you work as an engineer in the technology or automotive industry? Or do you have a higher education in technology with an interest in explaining complex technical information in written form?

We are looking for someone who has:

• A background in technology, either from studies or work, and wants to use your technical knowledge along with your pedagogical skills.

• A strong interest in technology, preferably related to the automotive industry.

• A very good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in both Swedish and English.

• The ability to create, structure, and simplify complex information for high usability.
• The ability to work independently and take initiative.

Meritorious:

• Previous work experience in aftermarket information.

• Post-secondary education in areas such as automotive technology/diagnostics, machinery, or mechatronics.

• Knowledge of topic-based writing and XML.

• Experience working in the automotive industry.
• Experience as a service technician in the automotive industry.
