This is what you will work with at Södra

As an automation engineer, you will take on the role of sub-project manager for automation in projects carried out at the unit, but also drive your own smaller projects related to your area of expertise. You will also be responsible for carrying out design assignments with associated calculations and documentation within the instrumentation area.

In your work, you will be responsible for making effective and profitable investments in accordance with Södra's project handbook and lead internal and external resources from idea to finished facility. You will have close collaboration and contact with external suppliers in the form of consultants, machine suppliers, and various contracting companies. You will also be responsible for the work environment and coordination of personnel performing assembly work. In this role, you will have broad contact areas across Södra and will work closely with production and maintenance.

You will become part of the Technical Department at Södra Cell Mörrum, whose mission is to lead the transformation of the facility and provide technical support to other functions. The department consists of about 30 employees divided into three smaller groups.

In summary:

- Lead and participate in projects focusing on automation
- Carry out design assignments within automation
- Documentation regarding, for example, handover of projects to production and maintenance

The position is a permanent full-time position during daytime hours, located at Södra Cell in Mörrum.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for someone with a degree as a college engineer with a focus on electrical engineering or automation, and who has experience in programming control systems, project management, and design in a CAD environment. We also see that you have experience from working in the process industry.

As a person, you enjoy having a broad network and working closely with different types of professional groups. You are good at planning and executing your assignments with good structure and communication to involved parties. We also believe that you enjoy problem-solving and can easily adapt and prioritize among your tasks.

The position requires that you have a B driver's license and language skills in Swedish and English.
