Service Engineer

Your Role

Your tasks will include commissioning, troubleshooting, as well as service and maintenance of our systems onboard Swedish and foreign naval vessels.

Your Profile

You have a technical education or equivalent relevant training and have a general interest in technology. You are communicative, quick to learn new things, and easy to collaborate with colleagues, subcontractors, and customer representatives. Much of the work is conducted in English, so good knowledge of English, both spoken and written, is required.

Experience and competence in one or more of the following areas is an advantage:

  • Experience with measurement technology using oscilloscopes, signal/pulse generators, and spectrum analyzers
  • Experience in radio/radar technology
  • Experience with marine systems
  • Experience in commissioning and servicing marine systems
  • Soldering certification/contact crimping certification

You enjoy working in a team and finding effective solutions, and you are open to exploring different technical fields. You are systematic, meticulous, and persistent. You are also an engaged, outgoing, and creative person who wants to develop both personally and professionally.

Travel is required for this position.

On-call duty may occur.

The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to the applicable security protection regulations. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may entail requirements for certain citizenship.
