Designer / Planner for expanding Åhmans in Åhus

At Åhmans in Åhus, you are offered a versatile and developing role in an exciting family business that has been delivering elevators since 1860. Here, you will be involved in developing products characterized by quality, experience, and feeling. We are now growing and expanding with a role as Designer / Planner.

In your role, you will closely collaborate with the sales and production departments, where your responsibilities include transforming customer requests into clear instructions and manufacturing documentation. You may also serve as technical support in the sales process. The role focuses on special projects, and you will primarily work in Solidworks and the business system Pyramid.

Responsibilities:

• Contribute to designing and developing customer-specific solutions
• Create instructions and manufacturing documentation according to customer requests
• Produce drawings and specifications for various special projects
• Provide technical support to sales staff as needed

Your profile:

We are looking for someone with a strong interest and understanding of technology and design. You have a relevant education at the vocational college or engineering level in areas such as mechanical engineering, construction, product development, or similar. You also have good knowledge of CAD software and are fluent in both Swedish and English.

To succeed in this role, we believe you thrive in a coordinating role with many points of contact and have a sense of structure and order. We also value your collaboration and communication skills, your positive outlook, and your creative approach to problem-solving.
