Deviation Handler to the Naval Staff
Do you want to be part of something bigger and contribute to a safer and better operation within the Navy and the Swedish Armed Forces? We are now looking for a deviation handler for the Naval Staff.
About the Department
The Naval Staff's Analysis and Deviation Department (Avv) is part of the Operational Safety Unit together with the maritime safety, land safety, and nautical departments. The main tasks of the department are to follow up and coordinate deviations within the Navy and establish routines for handling, investigating, and analyzing these. Deviation management is one of the cornerstones of the systematic improvement work regarding operations, equipment, and work environment.
Main Responsibilities
As a deviation handler, you will support the reporting, registration, investigation, and entry of deviations into our deviation system. You will also ensure that feedback is provided to the reporter and that other relevant parties are informed.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications
- High school education with passing grades
- Driving license B
- Good ability to express oneself in speech and writing
- Computer skills with very good knowledge of Office programs (primarily Excel and Word)
Personal Qualities
This position requires you to have the ability to drive without prestige, be meticulous, and work in a structured manner. You have good collaborative skills and thrive both in a group and independently. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
DESIRABLE
- Post-secondary education in statistics and surveys
- Knowledge and skills in the Armed Forces' support system SAP (PRIO)
- Experience working in the Armed Forces or another government agency

Employment type: Permanent position. The Armed Forces applies a six-month probationary period for those who are not employed by the authority.
Position: Civil.
Work location: Karlskrona or Gothenburg.
Employment rate: Full-time.
Travel within the position may occur.

As part of this work, the Armed Forces has organized a Naval Staff for the leadership of the Naval units. The Naval Staff is established in Muskö in Haninge municipality.
