JOB DESCRIPTION

At the Common Reception department, social workers, therapists, and budget and debt advisors work together. The Common Reception is the citizens' first contact with the Social Services and is responsible for the daily influx of reports, applications, and various types of inquiries and advice. The work also includes some outreach activities, internal and external collaboration, working with the method of deliberative dialogue, and conducting collaborative conversations.

The daily work as a social worker in the reception includes handling preliminary assessments and shorter investigations based on SoL, which involves individual conversations with children and adults as well as documentation. You will regularly staff the reception phone and be part of an availability schedule. Together with your colleagues, there may be handling of LVU and LVM in acute situations. The tasks are described in more detail during the interview.

As an employee with us at the Social and Functional Support Administration, you will receive an introduction, close supervision, support from experienced colleagues, and external guidance.

QUALIFICATIONS

You as an applicant must have a degree in social work or other academic education according to the requirements of the National Board of Health and Welfare.

Experience working as a social worker with both children/families and adults is considered meritorious.

The work involves working independently to a large extent, which requires you to be able to work structured based on set goals. The role also involves working with others, which means you should have a good ability to collaborate. You are innovative and have a flexible ability that makes you eager to test unconventional solutions and see opportunities instead of obstacles. You have a strong commitment to vulnerable groups.

Great importance will be placed on personal suitability.

A valid driver's license (B) is a requirement.
