Summer Temporary Position as Personal Assistant in Karlshamn Area

We are looking for engaged and responsible individuals for summer temporary positions as personal assistants for our clients in the Karlshamn area. Our clients reside both in central Karlshamn, Asarum, Mörrum, Svängsta, and outside the city center of Karlshamn. For some of our clients, a driver's license and access to a personal car are required to reach the workplace.

As a personal assistant with us, you will be offered visits and introductions to the clients before you start working independently. Additionally, you will undergo a digital introduction, so it is advantageous if you possess good computer skills and master the Swedish language in both spoken and written form.

As a temporary worker, you will work according to a schedule with one or more clients and need to be flexible enough to step in extra when needed. Working hours vary between day and evening shifts, shifts of up to 12 hours, and night shifts - both awake night and sleeping (with on-call compensation). Flexibility is therefore an important quality for those applying for this summer position.

The tasks vary depending on the client's needs but mainly include accompanying clients to activities and medical appointments, cleaning the household, preparing meals, assisting with feeding, managing medication and aids, transfers, handling incontinence protection, and personal hygiene.

Experience working as a personal assistant is an advantage. Some clients may be verbally abusive, so the ability to work in a low-arousal manner and maintain calm and patience is of utmost importance.

Interview invitations will be sent out during March/April to applicants who match the positions we are looking to fill, but applications are accepted and processed continuously. There is also the possibility to continue as a temporary worker even after the summer if both you and the client enjoy the collaboration.
