Are you an experienced economist with strong knowledge in group accounting and looking to work in a dynamic environment? We are currently seeking a Group Accounting Economist for an international company located in Malmö. Here, you will be a key person in the continued development of the group, with great opportunities to contribute and influence. The client aims to hire after a certain period of temporary employment, provided that all parties are satisfied.

As a Group Accounting Economist, you will be responsible for:

• Preparing group accounts according to K3 for both legal and operational consolidation.

• Participating in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings.

• Being responsible for the parent company's accounting.

• Contributing to the development and harmonization of accounting principles, routines, and processes.

• Supporting subsidiaries in accounting and reporting issues.

• Performing analyses, reconciliations, and participating in audits.

• Working with IFRS reporting, including leasing, and contributing to governance, internal control, and oversight.

• Assisting in the preparation of annual reports and sustainability reporting.

• Functioning as a “super user” in Cognos/Planning Analytics/TM1.

Requirements:

• Academic degree in economics or equivalent.

• Several years of experience in group accounting, preferably from larger companies and/or international environments.

• Good understanding of consolidation and reporting tools.

• Excellent skills in Excel.

• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

Meritorious:

• Experience from an auditing firm.

• Experience in change and development work within finance.

• Experience in IFRS reporting.

• Experience with Cognos/Planning Analytics/TM1.

• Location: Malmö/Lund (hybrid)

• Period: November 3, 2025 – April 30, 2026

• Employment type: This is a consulting assignment. You will be employed by us and leased to the client.
