Are you a service-oriented and responsible person who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and meeting people from all over the world? Do you want to work in Björkliden, one of Sweden's northernmost ski resorts, where quality and guest satisfaction are the focus? Then we have the job for you! As a receptionist, you are the hotel's face to the guests. You greet guests at the entrance, handle check-ins and check-outs, manage bookings, answer questions, and provide tips about both the facility and the area.

We are now looking for someone who wants to work as a receptionist and together with us make an extra effort to create a wonderful experience for our guests.

What is the Northern Lights season?

Our Northern Lights season starts on September 30 and lasts until our winter season in February, when you have the best chance to experience the dancing Northern Lights over the mountains. To make the season possible, our preparations begin even before that, which means that some of our seasonal positions may start earlier.

1-2 receptionists starting at the end of September. Please indicate in your application from which date you can start.

Job Responsibilities

Our receptionists are our guests' safety and work with classic reception duties such as check-in and check-out, telephone switchboard, email, booking, guest information, and cash handling. You work in the heart of the hotel, so an important part of your job will be to ensure that information and collaboration function between our departments. Since we are in a mountain facility, flexibility is required, and you must be able to answer all sorts of questions from guests, but you will learn that on-site.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone who is communicative, meticulous, and structured. You enjoy customer contact and are used to meeting customers and guests; your most important trait is a strong service mindset. It is natural for you to maintain a high level of service and hospitality. You solve problems with the customer in focus, take initiative, and can work independently. You handle large amounts of information, so it is important that you can absorb and sort it to convey relevant information and ensure the customer's best interests.

You must be able to express yourself fluently in both spoken and written Swedish and English. Additional languages are a plus.

Previous experience as a receptionist is an advantage, but other service professions are also welcome. If you have previously worked with the booking system Picasso or another booking system, that is a clear advantage.
