We are now looking for an engaged cold kitchen chef who wants to help develop our team to achieve our goal of being the friendliest café in Boden and making every guest experience even better.

As a cold kitchen chef at Konditori Opalen, you are an important part of our team and contribute to creating culinary experiences that spread joy and good flavors to our guests.

Your tasks include, among other things:

• Planning, preparing, and cooking cold dishes such as sandwiches, sandwich cakes, and salads.
• Working with fresh and quality ingredients to create flavorful and beautifully presented dishes.
• Maintaining good order and ensuring that hygiene and routines in the cold kitchen function as they should.
• Collaborating with colleagues in the kitchen and service to ensure an efficient workflow and a positive work environment.
• Assisting with preparations for events, holidays, and orders such as catering and buffets.

The position primarily involves work from early morning to early afternoon. Weekend work may also occur as needed.

We are looking for someone who:

• Is passionate about cooking and creative in your work with cold dishes.
• Is meticulous and cares about hygiene, quality, and presentation.
• Takes initiative and is solution-oriented when challenges arise.
• Finds it easy to collaborate and communicate with colleagues in the kitchen and service.

We prefer that you have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written. It is also advantageous if you have good knowledge of English, experience with similar tasks, and familiarity with working in the hot kitchen.

Employment Type: Permanent. A six-month probationary period applies.
