Kalix Education & Conference AB is 100% owned by Kalix Folk High School, beautifully located at the mouth of the Kalix River, a couple of kilometers from Kalix center in Norrbotten County. Today, we serve meals to our own participants, external guests, and the students of the free school, which together amounts to between 350 and 400 lunch portions daily. In addition, the restaurant serves breakfast, afternoon coffee, and snacks to the hostel's guests and Norrskenet Free School on a daily basis.

One of our employees will be moving on to new assignments, and we are now looking for a successor. Homemade is our philosophy, and this applies to everything from a hearty salad bar to soups, freshly baked bread, and delicious pastries. We rotate tasks and therefore wish that you who apply to us are a trained chef, but that you can pitch in wherever needed. There is no hierarchy with us, and everyone works together to improve the operation. You will plan the menus and purchases together with your colleagues; the job is free with opportunities for influence and impact. We envision that you who apply are a trained chef with many years of experience working in restaurant operations and large-scale catering, preferably in a mixed environment since our operation is very broad and each customer group is equally important.
